I’m just feeling really sad, my grandpa died & his funeral is tomorrow. I tried to block it out & not think about it, but the funeral & seeing my grandma is making me feel the totality. I will never be able to see him again.

Because the element kit does not come fully assembled. It comes with the dryer heating element, a high-limit thermostat, a thermal fuse, a thermal cut off kit, a jumper wire, and screws to fasten the shit together during assembly and prior to installation you know nothing, never did nothing, dumb ass with just two brain cells both fighting for 3rd place.
All for about 40 bucks…
This and time is money. I could spend 15 minutes checking sensors or $2 extra for the element kit that comes with the sensors.

New York Attorney General Letitia James is a known and self-professed ultra-partisan hack for the Demonrat Party. No credibility there whatsoever, folks.

Don't have time right now to watch the video but I applaud you for fixing it yourself if that is what you ended up doing in the video. I've saved countless dollars on repairmen and new appliances just by taking the back off and pulling out the schematic and installing a part that costs $10-25 dollars that I'd been quoted hundreds for.
Thanks, bud. Yeah, the parts kit was like $30 shipped vs buying a new dryer AND having to get it in which would be impossible until the snow gets cleared by my back door. Plus now I can reasonably believe this coil will last at least 5 years.

God damned parts changer.
Learn to use a fucking meter (and save both time and money).
I mean, when I can physically see the broken coil......
