In 85 I was selling cars at John Eagle Pontiac in Dallas. They advertised the same Sunbird every week for a ridiculously low price. At least 10 times a week someone asked to see the super cheap Sunbird.
So I would drive them over to the storage/parking garage to the very top floor in a nice aur conditioned Bonneville. We would got clear to the top floor and there sat a brand new Sunburd with the advertised stock number in the window. A black sunbird with black vinyl interior and no AC.
In the summer Dallas sun it was Auschwitz oven hot in that fucker. Needless to say it never sold but it sold a lot of air conditioned Sunbirds. -
