there is no way they would be able to afford to enforce this. The legal system could never handle it, the jails were already crowded during Covid. It's a losing battle and a bad investment and complete waste of taxpayer money. No way this will ever pass, we simply can't afford it. Nobody is going to spend money to kill their economy no matter how much they want to, the forces of the market will not allow this to happen.
