Most people in busy areas probably speak english so don't be afraid to ask about stuff. No problem going out at night if you stick to places like bars and restaurant areas. There's full streets and neighborhoods for this type of stuff. Don't ask for shit like "Donkey Shows" or the people will just laugh at you. There's also Uber if you need that shit. Beware of the cops too, so don't do anything crazy in a car since they'll want a bribe if you get pulled over. Don't sperg out on women unless you want a beating.
I can't give you a whole lot of info about the city because I've only been there a few times, but it's pretty much the same deal everywhere.
Enjoy the food; that's one thing we have that's top tier in the world. -

Don't fall for memes on the internet/tv. It's really not dangerous in most big cities if you're a tourist. Just don't be obvious and flaunting money or whatever, and they died because they were driving through a shithole state called Sinaloa an everyone says they were asking for drugs.
Tijuana is a shithole though. Drive about an hour south to a smaller, cleaner and prettier coastal city named Ensenada. -
