2017-03-27 at 10:28 PM UTC in Swinging (and my first experience swinging)That was really well written, I enjoyed reading it. I've only partaken in a single, MMF threesome, and it was underwhelming--mainly because I was the only one who wasn't stoned and the other guy (a close friend) ended up bleeding from his dick without explanation and it really put a damper on things so I left.

2017-03-27 at 10:14 PM UTC in The Lord of the RingsDoes anybody else here have the LotR fetish? Growing up my friends who were into it were awe-stricken by my comprehensive knowledge of Tolkien's imaginary universe; there wasn't a question relating to the lore that I couldn't address. It was the defining fantasy of my youth to be a character in those books, and now that I'm older I feel indebted to them for my sense of morality and responsibility.

Originally posted by Malice Zanick, do you have any tips on getting a high dose prescription for Nardil? Someone who has the kind of doctor that will prescribe them anything? I could pay for it. Pretty desperate to get it due to likely over a decade of depression, with the last 5 qualifying for severe, and the last 2-3 having been the worst post mental breakdown, low quality of life, poor ability to function, and a host of other problems it's excellent for treating. I hate dealing with psychiatrists and there are a host of myths about the risks. MAOIs are drastically underutilized. Phenelzine has some absolutely fascinating properties and results when compared to the outcomes of other medications.
I really doubt that you'd find one, sorry. Even if you went in saying you'd been given several SSRI's and they didn't work, they'd still probably bounce you between different SNRI's and managing your side effects with other drugs before considering alternatives to serotonin-based treatment. MAOI's are not popular with any psychiatrist I've seen or that I've read about, because of their side-effects, and this one in particular is one I don't think they'd even pack in their toolbox. I've worked as a pharmacy assistant for several years and I never saw or heard of it. -

2017-03-27 at 3:11 AM UTC in So which religion actually worships the one true god?
Originally posted by mmQ Narrows it down to what? I want some cold hard numbers here. How many different gods are there, zanich?? THE EXACT NUMBER. THANKS.
Well, and I'm generalizing a lot here, we have the three Abrahamic faiths which basically agree on the same god. That consolidates three different conceptions of the divine. If we throw in their philosophical roots and any offshoots since their founding (i.e. Gnosticism, neoplatonism, the many forms of modern Catholicism, etc.) I think it's far greater. Still, there are too many religions for any number I can give to be valid. -

I went through this much kpin for like a month or something and kept doing it for another year, Idon't remember shit. I just drank a lot during the withdrawls never felt much.
Went to a therapist some time around after my benzo abuse when I started using meth and they wanted to put me on mirtazapine and xanax.
Wow, that's some dedicated abuse. The worst part of withdrawal for me (aside from seizures) has been memory loss. Family and friends will tell me sometimes about things I've done recently, and I'll have no memory of the event. Sometimes it doesn't even sound like me. Drinking after stopping benzos makes some sense, both are GABAergic and it's likely you staved off the worst of it. -

Do you actually think that's a good idea, in practice? I do think that more expert consultation, particularly at the local and state levels, would benefit legislation greatly, but that would mean that while doctors and such would have a say in their political environments it would also give more power to self-interested corporate entities that are otherwise restricted to lobbying. -

2017-03-27 at 2:54 AM UTC in What prescription meds are you on?I was physically addicted to benzos at one point. Then the withdrawal hit, once I stopped, and I started seizing and wound up in the ER twice. Now I'm a lot more careful.
