What is the show about? Does it stand the test of time or has it ages poorly? Is it worth a watch from someone in 2017 who has never seen it before?
I recently started watching The A-Team while stoned, the show is cheesy but it still holds up well if you watch it with the understanding that it WILL be cheesy as fuck.
It depends on you and being opened minded. It's not too dated because it's about 2 families (cousins) by two moms, who both have issues with their own family members and husbands cheating or believing they're cheating. I don't want to ruin the show.. but it's a cliff hanger type of show. everything ends as the start of the next episode giving it a soap opera feel. It's like saying I love Lucy isn't dated. my kids loved watching her when they were young. but the show could re-imagined with some homage to it's original setting with a more modern touch or leave it in the 1977-1980 era. I could do that. The only thing about it is it's old shitty video quality. they even tried to give it that "vaseline on the lens" trick that Soap Opera that looked good on older CRT but not so much on digital tvs, it's not great visually. but I think you would laugh.. just get through season one.. it's a bit slow but you have to watch every episode for it to make sense. -

But I grew up in the East Bay of Norcal which is mostly Oakland R&B which is some great stuff. and lots of rock bands. metales'que but most are LA to the Bay Rockers, like Ronnie Montrose, Y&T, Metallica, Testament and hell I'll even throw in Rollins and black flag and the kid from Green Day (now in his 40s.. representing Pinole/Hercules/Rodeo/el cerrito/richmond/el sobrante (oh and of course Primus). who else is from out here.. people know. but I wasn't big into Metal as much as dark and weird. I kind of dislike death-core but some is cool. it's all about the music and not what the fucking artist looks like. as for post.. Romeo Void, The Fall, The Sun and the Moon, Wire, Echo n Bunnymen, Joy Division (obligatory and shit you find on telegraph in berkeley) hell I'll even listen to some country. but Jazz is confusing to me. I like it but it's complicated in structure. I like simple wave .. not to repetitive but Mark E Smith is entertaining even though he's a big egotistical toothless faggot from Bury UK. His french wife is hot. Brix was hot. I'm trending now.. I might as well talk about Blondie

Dude, Skin bleaching and double lid surgery is very popular in Japan and Korea right now. they're trying to do what White girls in the USA do. The Asians want to look more caucasian/asian mix or Eurasian. it's considered very beautiful in the country and also mimicks the anime craze. White and Black women have double lids (eyelids) while asians have only one single fold up there. some hispanics and Native americans also have single folds (from the Native tribal people of the Americas.. most likely from south pacific islands or crossing over the land bridge from the once Mongolia region now mostly eastern Russia.
This is a self mutilation trend in Asia. they look pretty exotic now, but who knows what they will look like in 20-30 years time.

West Oakland is having a major townhouse boom going in. there is talks of taking out the white cranes because Oakland can't afford to run the shipping industry.. not sure the real reason, but it is cheaper in LA near longbeach. so most of the shipping will go south. which just means Oakland will have bayside multi-million dollar homes soon. -
