    It's very unlikely we will see another ice age for a few hundred thousand years, until all the carbon we've emitted from fossil fuel reservoir depletion has a chance to sequester itself. The earth will transition to a much warmer planet with higher sea levels, less land mass and greater humidity (water vapour is the biggest greenhouse gas), a little bit similar to during the carboniferous period, except not as extreme.

    1080p definitely is better for so many reasons - less graphics card intensive, so you can get faster FPS and use a cheaper card, it's much less bandwidth intensive when remoting (4k remoting is hard on the server CPU too), it's easier to standardise on so you don't have to deal with different resolutions, for instance between your laptop and your desktop and between monitors, and the monitors are much cheaper.
    
    It makes sense to just standardise on 1080p unless you genuinely need the marginally sharper picture, like if you are doing 4k video editing or whatever.
