@realDonaldTrump
Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!

I read recently that the only real difference between voting republican and democrat in the US is whether you want to blame all your problems on Iran or Russia
Though now that Iran and Russia have significant military and economic ties, you might not even need to choose anymore -

Like I posted in the other thread, Iran has transferred the drone (as well as several cruise missile designs) schematics and plans to Yemen through Hezbullah; they don't directly supply any components as far as I know. Yemen is able to construct them independently. It's amusing that the US, UK and pals are complaining about 'Iran interfering' when they've been selling weapons to the other side at such a scale that their economic growth literally relies on it.
The latest drones, I don't know what their actual designation is (they're not the Qassam-types that were used previously) are interesting. They have a range of over 1500km, meaning any of KSA's oil infrastructure is in range of Yemeni launch sites, and on top of the generally low-radar-profile of drones, they're specifically designed to counter traditional ECM.
The drones' targeting parameters are programmed in prior to launch; ie. pathing is done relative to the launch site so that it does not need to rely on GPS or radio/radar guidance - once launched they're locked on target and cannot be recalled. This means that jamming signals, creating interference or spoofing control commands from base are completely ineffective. -

Originally posted by aldra Hezbullah engineers have taught them how to manufacture them themselves; they don't have to rely on Iranian imports. These drones are fairly new, the only other time they were use was in the late-August attack. In the west they're referred to as UAV-X, have a range of over 1500km and the Patriot missile systems KSA has have not been able to stop or even detect them for the most part.
It's amusingly ironic that KSA started this war to loot Yemen's energy (oil and gas) reserves and will end up pulling out under threat of their own being decimated. -
