apparently most of the IDF was focused on the West Bank at the time because the settlers there are Netenyahu's main base and they wanted security, so they were totally out of place to deal with a major Gaza chimpout.
it's impossible to say what the situation on the ground is because israel is saying they've secured the wall and have Gaza contained but Hamas is still churning out combat videos, most recently a special forces unit that was slaughtered.
given how they're behaving I expect Hezbullah plans to open a new front in the north once the IDF commits to a ground invasion but the US carrier group complicates things, anyone know how far out it is? -

Each side probably calls each other terrorist and start with small terror raids until you end up destroying entire cities like Dresden or fire bombing Tokyo. War is about killing and destroying each other until one gives up.

the worst I've heard of is probably the Soviets' Torchmen Orders, where units disguised as the enemy would attack their own civilian towns in order to simultaneously harden the resolve of the people and create a buffer zone were advancing German forces couldn't resupply -

it's not that I wouldn't hate them and want to kill them (probably as a demographic, not just the people who actually did the crime), but I understand that what they did was not unique, they weren't some special kind of evil that doesn't exist anywhere else. the reason I want to kill them is because they transgressed against me and the people I care about. -

Aborigines have been full citizens since 1920 and have land rights over large swathes of the country, so the same justification does not exist. we don't bomb them and haven't taken their children since the 60s, outside of CPS cases which go after everyone.
if they did for whatever reason band together and attack non nigs for the state's attacks on them I'd fight them; I wouldn't expect outsiders with no stake in the conflict to see me as the poor blameless victim and send me shekels and shells.
