Even though he had given up his rights, when his daughter is older and she wants to know about her father, seeing her name in his obituary would give her a connection and a better sense of closure.
I remember he posted a pic of her and she looked alot like him.
What a shitty obit. All the people I know who've died over the last month (5ish) had better obituaries that mentioned things beyond the bare facts. Maybe it's his families catholicism buy thst obituary definitely left me wanting more
I think they intentionally left it kind of barebones because they didn't want to accidentally hint at the negative stuff. even if you liked him you have to admit he fucked up a lot, and catholics in general don't like to talk about the drugs and insanity that bubbled up especially toward the end -
