   I think it meaningless to call yourself Muslim when you're so clearly influenced by western values and culture. If you lived in a real Islamic culture you probably would have been stoned to death already just for your involvement in heavily western influenced websites like this.

I haven't really listened much to punk rock as of lately, been on a shoegaze / dream pop kick as of lately along with singer-songwriters such as Jeff Buckley. He even sang songs in my language. But I did listen to Black Flag yesterday, Rise Above is a favorite of mine.

    I listen to a lot of alternative rock and punk/metal. I like wavves a lot i've seen them a few times live. I'm not really a fidlar fan though.. they are alright. I like shoegaze, stoner rock like fu manchu and kyuss. 90's stuff like failure, the jesus and mary chain.
    
    I like a few classic rock bands like thin lizzy, cheap trick, skinny puppy, ace frealy. the meat puppets.

    Anyways the Burqa is bad (Fucking ban it) but women being treated like shit (and the rape that comes with it) is not just a muslim thing.
    
    For example here in the UK, there are soooo many cases of africans from christain countries cutting the clit of there daughters. I am not saying it is an exclusive African/Christian thing but you can't just say all the bad people are 1 religion/race etc.
