   There's a difference between creating subtle allusions to something and shoving something down your throat (or eyes/mind, in this case). That's what the authors of the other two books did that I had to read for college. Stuff about gay sex, talking about patriarchy and feminism, etc. I'm only reading it because I have to, but I wouldn't read it in my free time or anything. I'd have the same reaction if it was a dude writing political stuff.

    I do know in interviews she said Dumbledore's supposed to be gay but in the book there's no passage that explicitly states so. I only read the first four books, so I can't say anything about Luna.

    I see, that's interesting. So for you, there's more than one ways to form a potential bond. That makes sense. And hmmm... it's true that I'm a misanthropist, but not in the sense that I'm actively hateful. More so in the sense that if you were to present me with a button that would destroy the earth, I would press it without even thinking about it. But that's not why I'm not interested. It's just that I don't believe anyone can make me feel whole anymore so it just feels rather pointless.

    Are you thinking of those "nice guys" who only pretend to be nice because they want something out of you and when you don't give them what they want, they start showing their true colors? I don't think those guys are nice. When I say "nice," I mean men who are genuinely nice, genuinely kind. These type of men do exist and women always treat them like trash. Maybe it's because I'm a man that I don't understand. I even heard of stories of women breaking up with their partners because they were "too nice" to them. It's really absurd.
