Also no prosecutor would want such a case, as it would look bad on a CV.

Anglin goes into how kikely and anti-white the Chicago prosecutors office are on the DS today, but I don't really buy that they care enough about this demented little jedi enough to bother protecting him.

They routinely drag non violent people through court. It's pretty obvious that the Obamas- or someone influential- intervened in his behalf.

The thing that gets me is that this was essentially an anti white propaganda campaign. And he's completely off the hook. If a white b-celeb had orchestrated a "robbery" by white dudes in goodies and black face, I can't imagine a world in which the dude wouldn't be completely crucified legally.

Roll it as flat as possible and then dump an ounce of outdoor sugarleaf on it and roll and squish it until it's all mixed in and repeat this process until it becomes the consistency of a soft gooey hash and sell it for $15 a gram to highschool kids using the bait and switch method of giving them a hit of good hash and selling them the resin.

TwistedFerret / AdMech - I made a thread SPECIFICALLY looking for him already, but I'm mentioning him again here. I miss him most of all.

Robbinhoody - If you don't know who Robbinhoody was, you may be too much of a Yung Blood. You may not even need to continue reading this thread.

Gun Lover - We used to talk to each other about drugs a lot. Never about guns though, despite the name. I think he might been a mod of BLTC at one point.

Gustav/Guswut - This one goes way back, but I am curious as to what this motherfucker done been up to.

Silverfuck - Well, if you've seen her pics, 'nuff said. We came close to meeting in person, too, when I was living in Ottawa (near Toronto or wherever SF was from... she also went by Sophistry too at one point, I think).

CreamOfAndyWarholSoup - This dude did not have a particularly high post count, but he was one of the few Totseans I met in person (when I was living in Ottawa).

deadlycindy - She was mod of Bad Ideas - and back when I actually used to post there all the time (I used to do crimes and shit - long time ago, like 2004/2005 - I don't anymore).

bloodydiaperman - Probably the most (in)famous of all Totseans. I mean, he ran for city council or mayor or some shit, and had some crazy stories and YouTube videos.

Tr1p - FUCKIN TRAINS, MAN!!!!! IT'S A FUCKIN TRAIN!! Also known for his gargantuan nose.

MrMojoRisin - She was mod of S&A, I believe. Kinda hot (from one picture of her boobs in a bra - that's about all I can remember).

Metaphysicist - Everyone knows who he was (mod of BLTC, eventually mod of SG, where he ruled with an iron fist; was in a band; was also crippled in some capacity).

Glitterpunk112358 - Those numbers were the Fibonnaci sequence. This chick was a narcissist but reminded me of myself.

breed - Another poster that wasn't particularly popular on Totse, but I met him in real-life (in Southwestern BC, Canada).

soro_one - Yet another poster that might not have been Totse-famous, but I met him in real life.

Pyrohydrosmok - Mod of BLTC; also fucked a bagel.

Sick_Boy (sp?) - There was more than one Totsean who named themselves after the Trainspotting character, but there was a gal from Alberta with the username. Her geographical proximity makes me think of her that much more frequently.

Some more (don't even know for sure if they were ever on Totse, but might have been on, say Zoklet):
Tachozoma (sp?) - Is it just me, or is his face on one of the NIS banners??

That's all I can think of for now.

I'm sure dozens more will pop into my head later on after I post this.

And for the record, I think it's really cool that Panthrax is still around (i.e. Grimace). I would have probably listed him above if I didn't know that he's still here.

If anyone else thinks of anyone they miss from Totse days, mention them here.

    A. Nostalgia worthy (hence i have a lot of Totse threads saved, even way back before the "Print Thread" option was available).
    B. Educationally worth referencing in the future (I would do this on a lot of different forums, usually topical ones like bluelight and other drug-related forums).

Yeah, I've considered doing some kind of structured downloadable archive style thing. It'd be a nice feature but I'd have to set up a cron job or something and I don't think there's probably a ton of interest in something like that. If you want to open a PR for a management command or something to dump archives (only the publicly accessible parts of course) I'd set up a job to drop that into a statics folder once a week or something.

You should convert it all to a RESTful API that serves up JSON.

    (I say it like it's a simple as flipping a lightswitch…).

But that is where most mainstream social media type websites are heading.

I don't know for sure if it cuts down on overhead, but serving everything as JSON seems to work for a lot of places…

    It could be like:

    badideas_subforum.json:

    [
{thread_title: "How to make bombs", content: "Instructions on how to make big explosions follow....", replies: [
{poster: "The Mad Bomber", content: "All you need is like ammonia and bleach...", timestamp: "right_now", thanks: [userpk_1, userpk_2]}],
{thread_title: "How do I steal cars?", content: "I need to know how I can steal a BMW tonight.", replies: [
    {poster: "carthief420", content: "That's dumb. Huff raid.", timestamp: "right_now", thanks: [userpk_1, userpk_2]}]
    ]

A lot of sites do do that, but usually they make serverside provide the "REST" API and then drop all the rendering on the client. Part of the site design goals were that it should work with javascript disabled, so I can't just hand it off to the client. I'd have to support the API in parallel to the user facing part of it.

Originally posted by gadzooks Also, Lanny (and why I'm choosing this particular thread of all threads to communicate this, who knows - alcohol may be involved)… Just wondering, is hosting NIS any kind of financial burden whatsoever?

A lot of websites beg for donations and all that, but I see no such requests floating around.

Like, do you end up having to pay any money out of your own pocket for hosting?

Yeah, there's no revenue so all the hosting costs are covered out of pocket. But then the cost of hosting it is pretty low, I think I posted a more detailed breakdown in another thread somewhere in T&T but it's less than $30/mo and I could probably get away with something cheaper. I don't want to do ads, I don't want to have to look at ads and I don't even really think the ads would produce significant income. Asking people for money doesn't seem like it would yield a lot. Ultimately every totse descendant boiled down to the admin covering costs, expecting to turn a profit on this kind of thing is unproductive. I can either pay all of the small hosting costs or pay most of the hosting costs and have to worry about fund raising schemes. It's worth the small amount of money it costs to not have pass the donation pan around this band of cunts.

The good thing is that Bill Krozby has absolutely no hand in raising his child

so the chances of her or her offspring growing up like him are slim

Seriously though how utterly fucked is it to joke about this kind of thing. I don't even have a kid and I wouldn't do it. I don't know if you remember hamp, but when I was like 19 or something I made a joke about your son to you and it didn't fly well. I didn't get it then why it bothered you, but I get it now, and I still think about it from time to time. You gotta have respect for kids.

I'm not one of those dads that shames his kid for having an interest in video games. I like to play too, so it's something we do together. Honestly, he gets more angry and frustrated with Fortnite than he does anything else, and that game is cartoony as hell. He's really good at it, so he gets pissed off when he gets robbed. If he was left alone to deal with that on his own it would be one thing, but I'm there to keep him in check when he feels like throwing his controller through the damn TV.

I don't make the mistake of leaving him to deal with his emotions on his own. Talking your kids through their shit and not treating them like they're too young to understand solves a lot of problems.

He'll be 9 in a couple months. He's a good kid with a big heart. I couldn't have been luckier.

Yeah, I wouldn't even think to worry about anything like fortnite. I mean obviously it's possible to respond to frustration inappropriately, and talking about that is important, but that's not something limited to videogames by a long shot. Even in the case of extremely violent games, I don't really think the issue is like "oh they're a kid so they're going to learn to be a psychopath if they see violence".

I think it's more like "intense" violence is a special case of a more general phenomenon of a highly stimulating experience and damn near everyone is overstimulated these days, adults and children, it's just it seems more worthwhile to moderate that pathology in children since they're going to have to live with the fallout of that for longer.

Maybe that's a dumb sentiment, I wouldn't put it forwards as some kind of fact that someone's a bad parent for disagreeing with. It's just sometimes I think about if I had the endless stream of things like movies and videogames and stuff I have now when I was a kid, stuff that's just so in-your-face "entertaining" or "intense" I'm pretty sure I would literally never have picked up a book out of interest or for fun. Like if you tried to convince 12 year old me to read Dune, this fairly slow, weird, and kind of figurative old scifi story that consists in large part of monologues, now one of the favorite novels of all time, when I had new-era-CoD or left-4-dead or whatever other 0 down time, all action game there just would have been no chance in hell of convincing me to undertake what ended up being a really fulfilling experience.

Don't worry. I'm of the exact same perspective.

All I wanted to do was automate a few sequential posts - just a Proof Of Concept type of thing.

    And I accomplished it here:

    https://niggasin.space/thread/31354

I got it all out of my system.

But man, 50 identical (looking) posts in under a minute, without "duplicate post" errors or anything.

It's just cool knowing that it can be done, ya know?

That's why I do this (programming) for a living. I only wish I discovered it and got into it earlier.
