The only reason i use bookmarks is to have a list of resources at the ready for when i need them, or to save a page that has information relevant to my interests or a current project i am working on.
Instead of having a list of bookmarks, these days i have a custom homepage, with quick links to resources i use a lot, a search bar, a clock, and all kinds of cool things. I got everything i need at a glance. Now if you're alright at web design you can customize until your heart is content. However, there's a way to get much of the same with a certain FF Extension. Which is great for members that aren't very good at web design.
Even so, it takes a lot of configuration to set it up in a way that it both looks good and is customized to your preferences and what you think looks aesthetically pleasing. Now since i have all the APIs and can create a configuration file to export as JSON that you can load into your extension. My proposal is, we here in T&T collect a number of useful resources in the form of URLs, concerning the things we find interesting, wallpapers, and name a number of features that may be cool to have as part of a customized NIS T&T homepage.
We collectively gather the resources. I will create a customized homepage with custom graphics(That you can submit as well) that includes our resources and release a config file. So everyone here can use it. All the average NIS user has to do is install the extension and i will provide the config file.

Shit my dude. I sometimes feel the same, and it sucks, motivation issues hamper my innovative and creative drives sometimes. i need more self-discipline, and i have been trying to cultivate it. As long as i manage to power through some of the boring parts, i a hoping it will eventually become natural for me to do so. Taking over the world is on my to do list as well.
Lol, i suck at managing scope creep though, and chronically underestimate the amount of work something will take to accomplish. It's a bad habit, and i am trying to keep my creative process streamlined and focused. i know i an do it, i have done it multiple times on multiple projects. But for every functional project that comes out of me i have 10, that didn't for one reason or another. Not challenging enough, too challenging, scope creep. The expectations of my peers factor into this as well. And besides, I talked to Beeno a whole LOT and over that time he really opened my eyes about how easy it is to hack and molest NIS code.
Well. Beeno is a security practitioner, and he's a breddy good one. If it's easy for him to hack something, it won't necessarily be so for other people either. Also, take into account that 'hack' can mean a lot of things and the issue it fundamentally is about and exploits can either be severe or trivial. The point is. If you've been making websites for a while you get a feel for what is best practice security wise. Which is why i think it would be a good idea to have Rabbit be lead Dev.
Secondly, people who are into security don't just have a feel for what is best practice, security wise. Red team or blue team, it's their job to know how the system can be used for purposes the developers didn't intend to. Or to anticipate how a system might be used in such a way.
If you're just starting off with anything related to IT, security will be so far removed from your first experience encountering any of this stuff, you won't even know what to look out for.
Here's a programming tip for you too. When it comes to picking a framework or language or package of software or whatever. Pick something fit for purpose, not something to "spite someone". I know as a beginner you don't have a lot of experience to tapinto to know what's fit for purpose. So when you want to make a NIS clone, why not literally use NIS source, as it's tried and tested.
Not as much as phpBB but then again phpBB doesn't have the best record security wise either.
