Philosophically Nazism is a weird form of socialism. In any kind of socialism the common good is predicated on what the state deems to be the common good, and the state is generally the leader and his inner circle. So if i had to live in a Nazi country i'd hope to be part of the leadership. Because your well being as a commoner may have primacy when the state can afford it, but it is fundamentally susceptible to the whims of the leadership, whether they act rational or not.

I did some reading and i don't know if this is 100% accurate but i heard when you sign up you get instant Ukrainian citizenship, and you will be under the command of the Ukranian regular army. That means if Russia treats you as a terrorist, they at least have no legal justification for it.
