There's ways to make your life difficult without even touching your network Speedy. If i run a scan of the entire internet and i spoof the source IP to be yours, with Masscan or Zmap, and i do it often at a high rate of speed. There are going to be companies who will take note of that, and submit your IP to one of the 5 Global Blacklist providers that a lot of internet services use.
Once you're Blacklisted it's going to be a major inconvenience, and it'll be hard to get off those blacklists. -

To me, this seems counter-productive if only for the reason that kids tend to take the emotional brunt, even though they're the ones who have been manipulated and abused. All the "IT'S FUCKING DISGUSTING!" reactions just make victims feel shitty about themselves. They are probably often groomed to believe they they were the instigators, that they weren't actually exploited and abused.
I'm not saying don't flick the switch on someone like Sophie, sometimes there's no better way, but there should be a more nuanced discussion on the wider issues, but without the usual pearl-clutching.
I appreciate the fact you take a nuanced approach to the subject of pedophilia. That said, you couldn't 'flick the switch' on me if i handed it to you. -

If open source OffSec scripts/tools/frameworks were illegal to post, a lot of people i follow and work with on Github would be in a lot of trouble. I think code is a little like free speech in that regard, and as long as you are not encouraging malicious use i think you should be fine. Weaponizing all the things is definitely my jam though. -

Proxies can be useful though. Especially if you chain them. You can for instance run Tor chained with other proxies to hide the fact you are connecting from the Tor network. If you chain tor through a HTTP proxy server you're running you can use that to run and inspect web traffic through. For when you wanna fuzz a web application or something in a similar vein. -
