i'm right about this, and you fucking know it. you don't say, 'we finally have a family again in the whitehouse without traditional family values'. ever. that's a wrong sentence. if you put that on any fucking MLA paper, your english teacher would deduct points. finally should not be included in it. if you don't grasp that, you don't just fail in your basic mechanics but in your taste and sense of style. it would make you a bad writer, as much as a wrong writer. -

the point of speaking and writing is so that other people know what you're thinking.
this is why words have specific definitions.
his mention of the kennedy's was poorly done as well.
he broke the agreed upon rules and definitions of language, and whatever it was that he was thinking, what he said was pretty garbled. he needs to improve upon that writing, and you need to spend some time in contemplation of exactly what the technique and goal of clarity in speech is.
finally was wrong, no matter what your opinion of trumps family, the kennedy's family, or any of the families in between was.
another level on which it was wrong that i have not mentioned, is that one does not use finally to con-notate the arrival of negative events. one doesn't say 'finally, i got cancer again!'. one does not even say that if one likes having cancer. hence the egregious wrongness of that sentence. -
