   Thinking about taking a paid training 9-1-1 Dispatch course and go back to work.
   
   only pays 22.86 in a city like Oakland but after two years it seems CHP pays 72k a year.
   
   I'd only do it for maybe 5 years though. 2 in Oakland and 3 in county dispatch.
   
   had several people including my Dad doing it before he became an Oregon HP officer.
