I find the trick is never learn something before you need it. Don't learn something beforehand that you will never use. When you need something specific, then you learn it, and only then. Wasting your time and effort on useless and pointless things is just self-defeating. You could be spending that time and energy on something practical.

I know what you mean but in my experience neurotypical just means they cover up their deviancy or it finds ways to express itself in socially "acceptable" ways. Really it's not considered acceptable at all (if you tried to do the same shit to any of them they'd have a fucking MELTDOWN and no way would they think it's ok), but they decide it's ok in one or two instances and I guess that's enough to soothe their consciences. Id rather just be myself and not have to front super hard all the time and keep up a facade for appearances but that's just me...non neurotypical i guess.
