long story short...after much arguing over an excessive period of time they insisted the piece of shit get mailed to them for their expert retards to take a look at it to tell me what i already told them, after telling them i knew exactly what was wrong with it due to having been building computers since before plug-and-play was invented. i told them i was keeping both hard drives and they can figure out what the problem is with their own drives.

We have a whopping 1,614,158 posts. Or 1,614,159 after I press "Submit." Quite impressive, right? Well... not really.
We have been longer around than Zoklet -- which I thought was impossible, so, congratulations, Lanny! -- yet we have fewer posts. By a large margin.
We've been here since 24 June 2015 to 21 March 2024, that's nearly 9 years!!!
From January 2009 (although it had been a forum since 2006 as per Zok's join date, it wasn't open for public access until January 2009) to September 2014, which is 5 years, Zoklet managed to rack up 4,208,784 posts.
We don't even have half of Zoklet's amount of posts despite being up for twice as long! Kind of mind-blowing.
We're only at 38.25% of where Zoklet was in terms of post count. -

if you have php you can just create a forward.php and put your code in there, no frameworks or applications required. I haven't tried to do anything like that specifically for a long time so check this:

using libcurl is probably the best way to do it, I believe you'll need one page (form.php) for the form that submits to the next page (record.php) which writes the data to a file and uses curl to redirect to the actual page

I was in ceramics (similar to pottery) and we had to make a head and they were really clear that you gotta make sure you get all the air bubbles out of the clay or they will explode. So I waited till the day we were gonna fire our little heads or w/e and I put a plug on mine with a ton of water so basically instead of a hollow head it was a giant air bubble LOL and I made sure while I was making it to keep as many air bubbles int eh clay as possible by folding it instead of pounding it like they told us not to.
During the firing process it exploded and took out a couple of other students pottery heads hahaha I was so geeked when they told me mine was fucked up and the ones near mine got fucked up and I was like "SO what happens now?" and they said I could do a styrofoam head with a styrofoam ball and paint and I was like aw shit cuz I thought I Would've got out of doing the painting and shit.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

So they hooked me up to this EKG where it goes beep beep beep everytime your heart beats and I had snuck in about a 20 of crack and my pipe, I also had 1 steel reserve (I drank the other 1 on the car ride there, my ex actually drove me and she was my ex at that time but still cared about me when I called her in the middle of the night saying I was having heart trouble)
So I wait till it's like 3am, I waited till I was pretty sober and I loaded the pipe as full as I could get it my nigga, i'm talking I put both ROCKS in the pipe like 2 snowballs in uh whatever kinda tube snowballs get loaded into and I cracked the beer all stealthily (I used the blanket) and I almost spilled the crack out of the pipe
So I go and rip this bitch as hard as I can just hard rip it and probably wast ea bunch of it because of direct flame but I didn't give a fuck, I blow out the machine starts going beebeeepbeebpeep really fast lol, so I quickly hit it twice, thre e times, four times and the machine is like freaking the fuck out and some alarm starts going off on top of the beeping
I go to put the pipe in the folds of the blanket and it starts burning the cotton white blanket int he hospital/the hospital bed and i'm so fuckin high, and I got this beer, and I start chugging it and like 5 nurses and the third shift doctor run into my emergency room bed and see me having a bell ringer while chugging a steel reserve and one of them tries to grab it and it spills all over me
"I'm sorry, oh my God, oh my God" cuz I was way too high and thought I was gonna die

separate blocklists for threads and posts. if you want to hide both add the poster's name to both lists.
if you want to use it, just install tampermonkey as a browser extension, save this to a file, update the BLOCKED_THREAD_MAKERS and BLOCKED_POSTERS to whatever you want and feed it to tampermonkey. there should be a little note in the footer reporting how many threads/posts are hidden on the current page.

the idea here is the same general principle as outlined in photic driving - see this thread for more details, but the general gist is that if you flicker a light at specific frequencies it creates an involuntary mental response at the same frequency.
I'm trying to synchronise the photic impulse with binaural beats and will explain in detail what the goal and theory are in a separate thread, but the general goal is to synchronise both the photic drive response and the audio 'hemisync' technique to actively entrain the brain to operate at specific frequencies.
I haven't finished yet, have only just picked up C again and am learning SDL from scratch for this so it's a bit messy and so far, I've only written a basic version of the visual component. the way the application currently works is the screen will flash with a minimum of 1hz and a maximum of 60hz (max refresh rate for most monitors). W and S adjust the refresh rate up and down, Q quits.
this is an early test, still working on it, mostly posting so I don't forget.
