   There's a flea market about 3 miles from where I work that sells them...it's an indoor flea market and when you walk in immediately the first stall opposite has a big sign up, "Fake IDs, passports, greencards, Driving licenses etc" ...it's been there for YEARS.
   
   You'd figure the cops would have shut it down by now but nope.

   the modern security methods have pretty much destroyed the market. Cosmetic fake ID's are very easy to get on the clearnet but actually real holographic ID's that will pass a system are thousands of dollars and only used by real hardcore criminals and scammers part of crime and fraud rings who can afford to invest that much

    private russian forums sell them. they only open registration for the site around once a year, and most of the time you need to know someone to even sign up and get approved

    There are 3 tiers either the costmetic ID Chief Tier which works for liquor stores/bars
    The Darknet Guide tier which has very high quality fake security features but they will not pass an official check
    and actual FAKE ID's with real security features that WILL pass any check
    
    I heard that the new ID's use some kinda QR-style matrix that checks against a global terrorism database and this is a UN requirement for every nation state but it's possible to keygen these matrixes to pass verification which either requires some black market person inside a database somewhere where they keep this stuff and able to access it somehow.
    
    Also they update them constantly so the ID will only pass for a certain amount of time because it's using a cracked verification but apparently those are so good you can use them at any government facility, open bank accounts, get a passport ETC
    
    Back in the day the security features were weak enough that you could just buy a fake ID+passport and use that to get through an airport past customs but it's totally different now and the biggest cost upfront for the real fake ID prevents a lot of identity crimes THE TECHNOLOGY WORKS ITS A CAT AND MOUSE GAME FOLX!!!

    We had a girl working here with a fake green card. I compared it to mine at the time and it was indistinguishable...She said she paid $200 for it.

    You can't pass as 21, all fake IDs I've seen use the 21+ format (for obvious reasons). Getting a fake 18+ ID would probably be harder. It's super obvious to tell the difference, in most states one is vertically oriented rather than horizontal and it clearly says "UNDER 21" or some such at the top.
