I loved curry potatoes. havnt had me that in a while. My mom would make it with roast beef on the side. Someone else made it once and I bit into it and was like "WHAT the Pleeeeh" at the table. a friends house. that look I got from his mom. Apparently there is a million ways to make curry because its not one spice it's a concoction of several variations and this was GROSS.
I tried to play it off that I was choking but it didn't play off well. the only thing that saved me was my friend saying "Mom it was too spicey" and her response was "No, I think he just thinks my cooking is terrible" DING DING DING. the latter was so true.

My favorite thing is spending time on temu scoping out decent quality items from really shitty ones and trying to figure out which of the two qualities I will be happy with since it's a mystery. but it's fairly inexpensive so I don't lose my shit when it's a piece of shit. and I'm cheerful when it's pretty good quality.
