    That's not a problem, usually it takes lots of fuel to acquire a geostationary orbit. Also geostationary orbit for satellite mass objects is extremely crowded, not so for balloonics. Also our photovoltaic hydrogen system is capable of providing thrust and allowing for free propulsion and infinite loiter time.
    
    You simply attach the space elevator to a stationary location with cables if you want.
    
    Remember balloons benefit from scale, the bigger the better.
