I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late. I use the side door - that way my boss can't see me. After that I sorta space out for an hour. I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.

It’s never too late to learn something new. With as quickly as things change, you could be at an advantage versus older coders who learned outdated languages and processes.
A piece of advice, start with your goal and work your way backwards. Find the jobs you want and read the qualifications. To take it a step further, reach out to some hiring managers to see what they are looking for and what you would need in order for them to hire you. You might be surprised. You will at least know what to shoot for so you don’t end up with credentials that aren’t the right fit.
