I worked for a mid size security company for a while, all the brains in the org were in the c-suite or sales (shocking, I know) who outsourced everything to vietnam supervised by a handful of onshore people who either didn’t know what they were doing or had given up trying to do anything more than make the sales material not be sufficiently untrue so as to open the company up to litigation

Fuck, dude. I'm losing my mind. The right's gone all cancel culture-y after the shooting. I always knew on some level that I was politically homeless being a freeze peach troon and all, but man... if the right doesn't even value speech anymore, that's basically it. It's ogre. Not that this directly affects me, being in Canada and all, but like... the run on cultural effects are not good. I feel like the only way to restore balance is if someone assassinates Biden and then Trump (and it has to be in that order). Turn the system off and back on again.
