got some videos to upload but my connection is being slow as shit, drone and missile strikes all over northern israel.
interesting things:
1. in most cases the Iron Dome isn't even attempting to engage them, indicating that the network's likely low enough on supplies that the protection umbrella has shrunk to only a few critical installations.
2. warning sirens do not appear to be sounding at all, which is a complaint that settlements in the north have been complaining about for a week or so now, indicating that the early warning system has been significantly degraded.
3. israel now has planes in the air engaging drones and missiles with air to air missiles, which is more effective but also prohibitively expensive to do long-term. the last time this was done at scale was Iran's previous major drone swarm/missile strikes.
1. Hezbullah announces that their retaliation for the Fouad Shokr assassination begins now, that it will not be a single attack but a significant uptick in tempo and intensity of their ongoing strikes.
2. israel declares a 48 hour state of emergency.
3. israel begins strikes on Lebanon, attempting to disrupt the mobilisation of Hezbullah's weapons.
