yeah, it's not easy to destroy a country when the 'fellow white people' thing doesn't work and everyone's on watch for your 'colour revolution' tricks since you've used them so regularly. direct military force only gets you so far, especially if you have to consider logistics and force projection to the other side of the world.

to be fair that's more about the way windows handled system calls than the ftp protocol. I remember back in school you could run c:\CON\CON to lock the system up to the point where laptop buttons were nonfunctional and you had to wait for the battery to die
the whole two ports active/passive thing was a nightmare though -

are they superior, smarter? if not, how did they manage to fill all those positions with their tribesmen?
if it's nepotism and xenophobic selection, why would they not act in their group's interest after they seize power? -

this might actually be the reason for it.
someone hacked the Knesset a while ago (April or so), and they've been steadily distributing classified israeli information on a bunch of different platforms including Telegram.
for the most part they've been able to censor the information on other major platforms but the releases haven't stopped on tg.
the operation's been fairly quiet until a few days ago when the hackers (or someone who got information from them) text messaged huge numbers of israelis (specifically politicians and their donors) telling them "A response will come and a decision will be made, maybe tonight, maybe tomorrow."... the day that Hez swarmed a bunch of military bases with KATYUSHAs and suicide drones.
leaks of military technology, hardware positions etc. have been broadcast from time to time.

1967 - surprise attack on the only air power in the region to start the war - this war is already started and not being fought in this way
1973 - US cannot offer them the kind of force multipliers that allowed them to succeed here, both because they're not as far ahead as competitors as they used to be and because they're spreading their 'support' too thin -
