I'm not finding any official confirmation of either but I'm now seeing a lot of reports that the Theodore Roosevelt CSG is headed to israel. the Eisenhower was undergoing SECRET REPAIRS at Jeddah and is now moving there too.
if true, that's THREE CSGs headed toward israel as they prepare to attack Lebanon. it makes sense that one of the new ones is going to relieve the Eisenhower because it's at the tail end of its deployment schedule, but if it was being relieved I would think it'd just stay near Jeddah for the time being. -
