Yes he did. There was a song with him and someone else on archive I came across but they removed it as well.
clearly the people who run archive.org were told to remove everything (or mostly everything) from their server. and I talked to the server guy out in front of the inner Richmond site (San Francisco District) which the HQ moved to the south of the market ( I believe) next to the Yelp building.
I think Old Montgomery or some shit. I got done with my 4pm route and was to take my late lunch before my second route and I was right next to the archive building and thought "Oh I'll take a photo of the sign with me holding a thumbs up" in front of it.
and here comes the sever dude rolling up behind my van. I saw him wording "Ahh shit" and I took it as I just took his favorite spot. and so I said to him I say "Hey, I was gonna take a phot, you want me to move my van" and he said, "no don't bother I have the spot behind you" and I said, well I'll be out in a second, just wanted to take a selfie in front of your sign" and notice he had a box of HDD and I said I had some older ones Im not using but he said he didn't need donations. and umm I asked about why pages were removed (but said nothing about a BBS) and his response was "You know, a forum admit can request their pages be removed" and I was like, Oh. I thought the whole purpose was to record older pages and realized "Wait, I didn't say anything about a forum"
