if you built like 10 of these, they said it would only offer 3% fresh water and cost too much to build. but clearly it's who got the contract. -

the majority of society lives on the coast. much of the sewer water going to treatment plants gets pumped out into the oceans.
the golf courses and lawns and business park trees and this and that goes into the ground. groundwater yes but much of it is vaporized into the sky and that rain does dump out into the oceans. while the evaporation of Oceans removes salt and turns it into fresh water for land. however, they're saying the jetstreams are changing directions and not giving as much water during rainy seasons back onto land. -

eventually the river had risen up again.
however the population back then was like 400 million people world wide and there is 8 Billion now. So you're adding a shitload of more humans in which wouldn't put a dent on fresh water even with 17 times the human species in existance. it's the fact we pump water to our toilets and lawns and trees and golf courses and so on. so you take a 400-year drought and you add human technology of wasting water and now we might have a problem trying to replenish it.
Also they didn't have Nukes 400 years ago. So End Times today is far more realistic now.
Cycles are normal but the comeback may not be so easy with humans being selfish human beings. -

The owner was Chinese. He died 10-15 years ago. He was let out of prison after 3 years who had murdered someone. he tried to murder another person and got another 3 years. He tried to sink his Yaht outside of the Golden Gate Bridge and the people he tried to hire were Fed agents. I think he died in Prison after that but it's likely there will be bones left over of someone he killed and buried the car. but its also possible nothing will be found because he claimed this as stolen to the insurance companies.

but hey. I love cornbread. I love it with Chili. We make it and a pot of crockpot slow-cooked chili. we cold soak the beans the night before then toss them in a large pot and boil for about an hour before putting them into a crockpot for 8 hours with the meat and mixing we wait until 3 hours before its done to add onions and peppers. you don't want to overcook that stuff. actually, the diced bell peppers added to go in 90 minutes before done because they stay a little crisp that way. -

You can load a shotgun (not a single or double barrel shot) with the chamber rounds. but it doesn't fully load until you pull the pump back and one enters the chamber itself.
like a side feeder that holds the rounds until you pull that pump back. but you can also unload it that way by keep pumping the rounds without pulling the trigger.
so it's loaded but with the safety on and without pumping it you're ok. we have no kids here. but I should probably put a lock on it. or a lock box with 5 digit press release. Im sure they make them for shotguns. -
