Get some adderal or methamphetamine. They are neurotoxic when abused and can lead to binges and trippy behavior but they also supercharge focus, attention and creativity.
Intricate tasks with all kinds of tiny details become 10+ hour obsessions with a good hit of speed. Most people just smoke, fuck or talk when they do crank but I like to read, teach myself stuff and work on projects.
It's like that episode of American Dad where Stan gets the pills that make him never have to sleep so he can have more "Stan time" and he spends all his time doing various activities to better himself while everyone else gets mad at him

2016-03-19 at 7:09 AM UTC in how to focus and do somethingi've been trying to draw this sprite for a game (i draw, scan, and basically use the drawing as a base for the actual artwork, because digital editing is great for coloring, shading, that shit, but is a terrible interface for drawing.) so i can't draw the thing at all; i've been trying to do a sprite for three days and it's not working. i can't just get shit together and fucking make it.
how do you do this kind of thing? i don't finish anything because this happens; i have a really terrible problem with boredom, too, and it might be severe adhd or something, because it really fucking makes life shit this way.
also, since it's going to be the basis of this sprite, how does the smith & wesson model 12 revolver's rear sight work, and where actually is it? on the pics i see, it's totally flat above the cylinder, and there are some similar revolvers with obvious rear sights, but they all end up being newer guns when i check what they are. (i'm not trying to carbon copy the thing, but this shit fucking eats me) -
