Want the truth? It's ok to be a loner. The difference between introverts and extroverts is just that introverts recharge their emotional energy by being alone and extroverts recharge it by being amongst people. Then the other one feels like exertion. Just keep being a nice guy and meet new people.

Everyone can find friends. No matter what. There are too many people in the world to all not like you. The other ones aren't bad. They just aren't dancing to the same tune and that's ok.

It's not about you. It's frustrating but if you're a nice person, you don't pick and choose who to be nice to. Sometimes people are just not responding to your small talk and stuff and it's ok. Be yourself. Be cool. If they ever have a problem, it'll be their problem and not yours because you won't have been anything but a perfectly sweet gentleman.
