I had a dream that it was today and I went to work on my day off and forgot my phone and then for some reason I walked home. During the walk I noticed a utility pole was on fire at the bottom and someone walked up with a phone in their hands saying "I'm not a fucking idiot it's ON FIRE" and I heard the operator say "we can't respond unless it's a class 2 or higher" the guy said "it will be soon"
and then I kept walking and noticed another utility pole on fire, all of them suddenly started to combust quickly and reach the trees and spread to houses, then I got hit with embers and tried to run away and I noticed houses blowing up, fire, explosions, the sky shattered like glass, the ground started to crumble I shouted "WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING" I saw the guy with the phone and grabbed him and yelled "IT'S THE END TIMES! THE CHRISTIANS WERE RIGHT!" right at that moment we both turned into skeletons and were instantly vaporized, I saw my death, I saw my bones and saw the world die
It said "This is the end" and I was being whisked off into the afterlife. You are still alive when you die, it's pretty chill actually. I refused to believe this is how my life ends and woke myself up hoping I had one more day to abuse drugs and drink as much as possible
good morning

A lot of times my dreams disintegrate into near nothingness when I wake up, only remembering like a visual snapshot of the last moment in the dream. About once or twice a week I'll have a dream where I can remember most of what happens. Those are my favorite, I wish it happened more often.
This is far and away the strangest phenomenon regarding dreams. Im sure science has attempted to explain it but it's always weird to think about how you can wake up, vividly remember all these details from this event that seemingly just happened, even swear to yourself that you won't forget- there's no way you could forget- and then like ten seconds later, you just..forget.

I was waiting in line at the supermarket the other day and the woman ahead of me was purchasing a single zucchini. We locked eyes for a moment, and then she quickly looked down.
