I was a loner as homeless. I would find a place to crash on my own if I didn't have the luxery of the back of my pickup truck with a crappy tin shell to try and stay warm in.
I would take lunch breaks when I was doing uber. busy spots of course ar the Mission Dist and Castro. no not as many gays as there used to be. lots of tech families moved in. anywho I would park and sit at the huge hedges people had in front of their estate houses in upper castro and saying, Hell lots of parking here. I could grab a tarp from home depot and build a pod home inside that hedge and no one would know because I would split at 5:30 am, get in my car and not come back till it gets dark again.

but there is evidence that in places like Egypt they had these really advance "toys" of mechanical life-size horses and shit that would move. they were dated to be 3000 years old but the problem with the African rulers was "only the wealthy and chosen families could have them". not because they could afford them. they wouldn't allow mass production so it died off. they could have been ahead of the game.

Yeah I agree. we have year round 65-72 in Oakland with an occasional cold snap once every 3-4 years or a heatwave for a week or two. Usually in the autumn we call Indian Summer (Most of the country calls it that but in different seasons)
so it doesn't affect our tires here. but if you live in the sierras just 100 miles away you have the same shit. I never lived up there so I never suffered. but kind of on topic, Fucking Oakland roads are second worse (next to Detroit Mi) for potholes in the USA.
