Bradley the moderator was nice to me in my welcoming thread. I don't know but this girl reached out to me right away to tell me about how she has a kill list of evil people.
Is this normal for a forum?
She sent me a dozen messages about how everyone here is evil and warning me about them. Very weird stuff. People were weird on Totse but not like this.

NOI is one of the most entertaining groups in prison. They have these really devout black followers who recruit/bully young black convicts into partaking in their worship and brainwashing sessions. My understanding is from an outsider perspective but essentially you get 3-4 of these lifers who wear the Muslim regalia but they don't worship 5 times a day or even read the Quran. They have their own texts and customs that MUST be practiced and believed entirely. They will then indoctrinate young inmates into this shit by making them study, memorize, recite and believe these tenants.
Ironically, ALL (even satanism, jehova witnesses, native Americanism and other comical religions) have books and media in the chapel. The Nation of Islam is the ONLY religion that refuses to have any of their media in the chapel. This is because real Muslims, white people, non-brainwashed blacks, Christians, pretty much everybody will read their texts and make fun of them for the nonsense of it.
Much of what they have is sent in and it will only be 1 or 2 books for the whole group, so you got the king (pretty sure they call him King) who has the 1 book and he teaches everyone out of it and since they're all under educated black guys in prison there's a lot of manipulation, interpretation and according to some legends homoerotic penetration of new, young members as part of their orientation and like advancement in the faith.

So bascally about a month ago a college friend of mine invited us to visit to stay overnight.
It was good enough. We stayed over in his rental house in Roscommon town with him and his 35 year old wife and 2 lovely daughers. He asked me to be the godfather to the youngest, and I was all like "maybe, I'd like to be". It's not the same thing as having a kid of your own, but it's someone to buy presents for at their birthday and Christmas. Which is nice. Something to do.
It was really nice.
Only problem was that as the night went one he got drunker and angrier. Especially as he went outside to smoke weed. He'd come back in to rage against everyone. His GF, me, work, GG, everything. He fell down the stairs at one point. He gave me a slap, he gave GG a slap, I think he may have even slapped his girlfiend.
His girlfriend is about 35, and complained throughout how he never married her, how he was older than her (older than me), how she wanted to get married, how she never liked him and always thought he was old and bald, etc. And when he started stomping around, angry, slapping me and GG and her, and not being able to articulate why, she became embarrassed.
I remember having to stand between him and his wife and GG, trying to tell him why he should go to bed.
Eventually we wore him out and he went to bed, but shitty situation, no?
