Hey soy, do you know anything about Cypress? I just talked to a guy who used to do automation testing with it today. Never touched it myself but it sounds promising, I'd probably try it out if I ever need to do browser automation again. Can only run against chrome, but it's in-process which I imagine would resolve a lot of the heartache of selenium.

No it isn't.
Except it's not just a static image, loading a thread with a youtube video ends up making 16 more requests if you have video embedding off vs. on. It loads up an iframe, that has a static picture in it, plus a bunch of JS and tracking BS.

Well it is e2e encrypted so key exchange aside you should be fine in terms of interception. But a central server knows who you're communicating with and when, even if not what's being said, and your ability to use signal is predicated on that central server being up.

[lanny:~/killme]$ time ./a.out > /dev/null ./a.out > /dev/null 0.07s user 0.00s system 97% cpu 0.081 total
16 million lines in ~0.5 seconds cold, ~0.08 on the second run. Interestingly `printf("%s", buf)` outperforms a direct write which surprised me, but I'm guessing printf has some buffering going on because when I added the internal buffer it got a lot faster.

Yeah, I've wanted to get rid of recaptcha for a while now. I hate loading jedigoogle scripts. The main appeal is the annoying collaborative CV shit that makes intentional spam a pain (as opposed to actually determining user humanity). But I'd be willing to swap it out for sure.
Don't want to pull in the whole java ecosystem, but if you can do it in python that'd be fine. PIL/Pillow is already a dependency, although if you wanted to use something different I wouldn't mind.

You idiot.
I feel no sympathy for you. You jumped in. You weren't pushed.
actually 4srs tho, I'm interested in this thread and the shitposting is starting to get obnoxious. If you want to sick the CIA or whatever on people then go do it, stop threatening to do it, just shut up and do it and let the rest of us get of with it.
Thank you for your cooperation, now fuck off.
