For a novel I am writing I am looking for unusual places where you could easily steal 30-300$ cash at a time.
With unusual I mean places that don’t come to your mind immediately when you think about stealing money. So no pickpocketing, no car hopping etc., there is already tons of information about it on the Internet.
The risk should be relatively low and it should take place in real life, so no bank robbery or any other kind of heist and no cyber crime.
I am sure there are many opportunities out there every day that are easily overlooked.
I am not really creative when it comes to crime, but maybe we can get a discussion going.

At the ATM. Just sit in a car near an ATM at night and when someone goes to make a withdrawel you walk up to them and sucker punch them or put a gun in their face and say SUPRISE MOTHERFUCKER. Or something, i personally prefer cyber crime tbh.

^That, do it away from the ATM too. Just walk up behind someone, put a knife to their throat and demand their wallet. Pulling them into a dark alley and having some follow through with the knife is recommended, but not required.
