Can any of you make good biscuits?

    I was looking at a Hardees commercial and it got me thinking about how good their biscuits are. I don't think it's biscuits so much as them using a lot of salted butter on the outside somehow.

    I make pretty good buttermilk biscuits by mixing lard, self rising flour and buttermilk. I should probably melt the lard, mix it and let it cool. My grandma taught me with crisco but I tried lard for some reason and it tastes a little like pizza hut deep dish crusts to use goyslop as a reference.

    I made cookies once in elementary school along with the other classmates but I've never made any since then. I have made Pakistani sweets before and they tasted good, according to others. I just think they were being nice but who knows. I enjoyed it myself as well.

    Croissants are nice too but I never had one with weiners put into them. I don't think they sell those.

    I know people that make those with Pillsbury dough which I think sucks.

    But that may be what hardees makes them with but just a fuckton of butter.

    My momma used Crisco for everything when I was a kid. If you make… your biscuits, you better post em in the foodie thread! ❤️👍

    *I do remember that one time when my sister had the bright idea of slathering herself in Crisco oil to sunbathe- she fuqn fried herself into a sunburnt crisp!

    We have whole food forum that you want moved to your thread...

    I might but I wasn't planning on cooking any anytime soon. I'm back on health kick and not eating a ton of unnecessary carbs. I might do it anyway just to flex a lil
