    the topic itself is such a perfect microcosm of itself

    if the side who says things happen wins then that proves they are right because something happened, they won. but the other side would just argue that because obviously if nothing ever happens then nobody could ever win because that would be something happening and thus wouldnt happen. so the entire debate would be fundamentally impossible to ever come to any conclusion (unless someone told it to come when called and then i would just be like ohmygoodness WHO ARE YOU? (LOL))
