It's been five long days since the Nothing Happening. God save our souls... it's terrible. Nothing has happened. Nothing happened today or yesterday. I suspect nothing will happen tomorrow either. Because nothing happens in the Nothing Happening. Nothing ever happens. -

Your faith in news media is kinda refreshing. Imagine... imagine how it'd be, thinking they want people reporting that nothing is happening. It must be nice! Relaxing. Reporting that "nothing happened" accomplishes nothing! "Nothing happened at the border" is a waste of a perfectly good opportunity to weave a politically... titillating... narrative! "Texan Fascists Send Immigrant Families Still Wrapped in Razor Wire to Death Camp Instead of Hospital" is more the media's speed. Or "Invasion of Migrants Recieving Support From Evil, Treasonous Demoncraps — Biden Crime Family To Blame". They peddle bullshit stories about things happening to rile up their readers and keep 'em coming back for me. Nothing happens, so they make up bullshit to keep you entertained!

Day 6. Six whole days. I wonder how long the Nothing Happening will last. I'm getting bored. So bored. Surely something has happened. I'd take anything. Even some drama about the Super Bowl being rigged wouldn't go amiss in these absolutely not-at-all trying times. -
