If the underlying desire is to have a consenting relationship, then we have to ask why specifically one would PREFER a young adolescent or child as opposed to someone their age.
I mean, a 12 year old is sweet and innocent and all that, so is that the desire? To have a relationship with someone sweet and innocent? To have a relationship with someone who is still learning why their body is changing? Lol
It sounds creepy as fuck that way. Teens can obviously be into sex and know what it is, I don't think that's the question. I think personally for me if I had any desire to fuck a young teen it would be because it's like a blank canvass. You can teach. Show. Tell.
That said you can do that with adults as well. I think there are a few brands of pedophilia some of which include genuine passion for children, and some which enjoy, as you're suggesting memememe, nothing but sexual thrill.

We are naturally hard wired to be attracted to pheromones. Prepubescent children do not give off pheromones. So any attraction cannot be natural sexual attraction. There has to be something else going on there.
