    What Lanny fails to mention is that, even though the memory limitation on the operating system itself is 4GB, the graphics accelerator can have as much video RAM as you like, so it's not really an issue at all to run graphic intensive programs, such as modern games.

    Firstly that's not true, VRAM is part of a process's virtual address space, and secondly XP drivers don't exist for modern GPUs and haven't for a while now.
