    Not to mention the warranty requires you use antifreeze if you want any warranty coverage on your engine/cooling system.

    Maybe they don't have warranties in chingchong land though.

    You're not making any sense...again there is at least 1 freeze day EVERY YEAR in Houston...in North Texas there are many more. The graphs only show the averages.

    And again, that's just Houston...further north it's much more common..and not that much further North, Dallas gets snow on the regular in winter.

    We'll mark this one down as another loss for you vincent, but keep trying!

    ETA: I don't actually live in Houston btw...I'm North of Houston.

    is there a guarantee that an engine block will definitely crack if the coolant freezes.
