I used to teach CSR and team leader teams on the use of AT&T's CSG Systems International back end, fittingly known as "The Dark Side.", when AT&T swapped millions of accounts with Charter Communications. It's a command line super system which operates strictly on tran codes (transaction codes). After just an hour, people's eyes would start glazing over and they'd start to look very scared. Some just walked out, stating it was ridiculous to have to remember that much.

I was a tier 2.5 supervisor/trainer for Charter Communications. Upper management finally caved and licensed the front end to Dark Side, called PHOENIX, and it ended up scaring them just as bad. Pretty hilarious to see 200 terrified people just staring at the projector screen with their mouths slightly open.
