2024-01-01 at 12:02 PM UTCinitially Russia launched a huge wave of missile strikes at power infrastructure, workshops for tanks and armored vehicles, weapons stockpiles etc, all across the country. reports of damage are unclear because it's illegal to record strikes or their aftermath and the SBU pursue people aggressively.
in response, the AFU launched a salvo of MLRS at Belgorod, killing 24 and injuring around 100.
Russia's continued and increased the strikes to the point where air raid sirens across Ukraine have been going off for 72 hours straight. I don't think there have been strikes like this since Surovikin made his presence known -

Bandera looks like the sort you see out on the street holding a "refugees welcome" sign.
The Russians bombed the Agricultural University where he went, and which now hosts a Bandera museum. 1st January is his birthday too. Doesn't look like bad damage, but the roof is going to need patching.
