9 bullets in 1/4 second, so its like 36 rounds/second. thats 2160 round/minute.
The highest rate of fire for a machine gun in service is the M134 Minigun. The weapon was designed in the late 1960s for helicopters and armored vehicles. It fires 7.62 mm caliber rounds at a blistering rate of 6,000 rounds per minute, or 100 rounds per second — about ten times that of an ordinary machine gun, according to the Guinness World Records. -

Huh? that wasn't the point
9 rounds vs 15 rounds...
An automatic rifle would be out of the rounds very quickly, likely on your first target.
A semi automatic you can shot one person, move to the next one shoot them etc...potentially shooting 15 people...you have control of each shot whereas an automatic is...automatic... -

The term "assault rifle" is ambiguous...the AR15 for example is often referred to as an assault rifle, but it's not.
Semi-automatic-only rifles like the Colt AR-15 are not assault rifles; they do not have select-fire capabilities. Semi-automatic-only rifles with fixed magazines like the SKS are not assault rifles; they do not have detachable box magazines and are not capable of automatic fire. -

assault rifles are capable of firing just a single round even in full auto mode if you know how to use your finger.
a torso shot from a rifle round would probabky be enough to kill someone, while 2 or 3 pistol rounds are required to achieve the same effect. -

No, I was talking about a semi auto handgun with a 15 clip being more effective than an automatic rifle with a 9 clip. Again you'd be out of the 9 on your first target...maybe 2nd. Whereas the hand gun you'd pick each victim off individually. Controlling rate of fire is EASIER on a semi auto than an auto...More control = greater accuracy = higher body count.
Just the facts marm. -
2021-06-07 at 5:44 PM UTC"Since an automatic weapon like the AR-15 can fire 400 rounds per minute, this happens pretty quickly. Another drawback to an automatic firearm is its relative inaccuracy because the "kick" from firing a large pistol or high-powered rifle generally takes the gun barrel higher"

yes, and im telling you that kind of fire rate, 2200+ roumds/minute is not possible with the kind of asssault rifle we have today. -

It was a flippant response to highlight the differences dumbny.
400 rounds per min...= 9 rounds in 1.35 seconds.
Same answer, you'd be out of your rounds on the first target...I'd be aiming my handgun at the 2nd victim and only on my 2nd round of 15...
The handgun would have a higher body count -

not just highlight, exagerate and amplify as well because 1⅓ seconds is significantly gery far from ¼ second.
a negro could sprint about 5 yards or 15 feet in 1⅓ seconds. -

2021-06-07 at 7:29 PM UTCIt's obvious I dont know shit about guns but I meant in California the max for a clip was 9 rounds and I believe a Judge stated that it's not constitutional to force less than 10 rounds (not verbatum) and that barrel clips that hold 50-100 are constitutional. however a State has the right to enforce law on its people. so even though a federal judge says its OK the state says No its not. Just like making Pot legal when it's not legal at fed level. they can do the reverse and say 9 bullets max.
You see Feds coming into Oakland and LA shutting down pot dispensers from time to time under Bush admin however I doubt the ATF is going to come in and stock barrel clips (or whatever the term is) on shelves because it's a federal law saying it's OK.
so they can say whatever but forcing gun stores to do so is silly. And many Gun store owners would love to push a higher rate of gun ownership however to fight the state law or even county laws could cost shitloads in legal fees. so most just go by what the state or county ordinance is. -
2021-06-07 at 7:45 PM UTCWe need more gun fighting I feel. You got to remember that due to medical science most shootings wind up with no one actually dying, so it's basically a risk free activity, and it keeps people on their toes, polite, and eager to practice their marksmanship.

hey hey.. be nice. My kids live here. I would love to get them to move to Texas or Colorado or Idaho but they're 5th gen californians. (I found out my great grandfather moved to Arizona then Cali in the 1800s and raised my grand-dad (though not born in Cali but broght back) and my father born in Compton (when it was a farming town in the 30s)
it's not our fault the state filled up with weird people and first generation Mandarin and Arab people. (Hong Kong Cantonese lived here since the 1800s and many of the older ones who were maybe third generation Chinese still dont speak English) and Lots of Indian people too (India) but they're decent folks. the educated ones like doctors and mainly electronic engineers types or they work 16 hours a day running a 7-11 (which most of them own). India is a poor ass country it seems but I think a lot of these Indians send money back. Its a nation of 1.3 Billion and no one gets together to build the fucking infrastructure but they tend to have higher IQs than most Americans. that always made me wonder wtf is wrong with them for not getting together on a nation wide pride to build infrastructure. they would be far ahead of Chinese in the game if they did. I like their culture. except the scammers. they're just annoying af but funny at times to fuck with.
this is what jacked house prices up. Rich people already educated from other countries moving to California. Also a Lot of Ashkenazim jedis live here too. especially Berkeley. but they were hear for generations. Robert Oppenheimer was a professor as was his brother (which Gigi took a class at Cal back in the 1980s in his class) he was head of Manhattan Project. fuckers are smart. IQ off the chart most of these guys. not related I guess
