a trainned gunmam can fire a single shot, bursts of 3, 4, 5, or 8 rounds or full pray and spray without the need of a little switch.
Most mass shooters (which the magazine limit law is to prevent) are not trained gunmen, they are 19yr old virgins mad at the world -

all mass shooters have received shooting training in one form or the other.
Stretching Vincent.
Being shown what end of a rifle goes where isn't being a "trained gunman".
Again most mass shooters are incels who have played too much COD...not "trained gunmen".
The columbine kids for example...not trained gunmen, just kids who liked to play "shooty" -

again your wrong.
USMC and a variety of other US military branches has been using video games for combat training for more than 20 years now.
if the military thinks video games are good enough to train actual soldiers for actual combat, then video games can train these young boys to be good enough soldiers.
mass shooting at close range isnt so much about marksmanship but more about reflexes and conditional responses. -

Wrong, they don't gun train using video games, they train tactics using video games..quite different.
Shooting a video game gun teaches you nothing about shooting a real gun..you are completely lacking the recoil for starters...and no, your microsoft sidewinder joystick doesn't replicate a guns recoil -

lol, if you think recoils are significant factors then you either have limp, tofoo wrists, or have never fired a real gun.
like i said, mass shooting in close range isnt so much about marksmanship but more about reflexes and conditional responses. -

I have a real gun, go to the range and have a license to carry (soon to be obsolete as a bill was introduced allowing carry without a license in Texas).
I suspect the case is YOU have never fired a real gun (nerf guns don't count)...as no, firing a gun in a video game and firing one for real are not even close to being the same by any stretch of the imagination...lolol. Any idiot know recoil IS a huge factor in firing multiple shots and being accurate.
Again, moot point though...as no the military do not give 'gun training' via video games, they give tactical training via video games -
2021-06-10 at 5:37 PM UTCThe first gun I bought and the first shot I fired with it was to kill my neighbors dog.
Said dog (a great dane) was coming on my land and killing my quail and chickens, they it killed my wifes 2 pregnant goats. I'd warned the neighbor to keep it off my land but he didn't give a fuck.
So I went to Walmart, bought a shotgun for $75, some slugs, some shot (22 or 14 or something like that). Few days later said dog was on the property with one of our chickens in it's mouth.
Fired the first shot (a slug), never having fired a shotgun FOR REAL before I held it wrong and it slammed into my shoulder quite painfully. Dog just yelped and started walking towards me. 2nd shot was the buckshot, I switched arms and fucked my other shoulder up too, dog STILL kept coming towards me...finally it dropped on it's side at my feet and was deaded.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, 2 sore shoulders and nothing like firing the shotgun in DOOM. -

how accurate do you need to be shooting random target in a crowded room. and unless your trying to do a johnny wick style milisecond double tab, recoil isnt a significant factor shooting in a school environment.Again, moot point though…as no the military do not give 'gun training' via video games, they give tactical training via video games
what is even 'gun' training ? -

The fact the body counts are usually in the low teens answers that...what is even 'gun' training ?
You implied it with "combat training via video games" statement...being that the conversation was regarding being a proficient gun user...all the DOOM and COD in the world won't make you any better a gun user. -

so whats the appropiate bodycount for a descent mass school shooting ?You implied it with "combat training via video games" statement…being that the conversation was regarding being a proficient gun user…all the DOOM and COD in the world won't make you any better a gun user.
not really. combat training involves a lot of things. psychologycal, mental, tactical, motivational, etc etc.
video games teaches players what to do in a specific set of situation and familiarize them to shooting environment, its like how SWATs study buildingc floorplans before charging into a building.
and how terrorists learnt how to fly with flight simulators. -

we were talking about guns and the fact an automatic with 9 rounds isnt as dangerous as a semi auto with 15 rounds...you're completely off in the woods. AGAIN playing a video game wont teach you anything about how to properly handle and control an assualt rifle
