I did the dishes and the water stopped leaking? I avoided using the sink all day but when I ran it the dripping went from rapid to barely at all.

I think my O-ring might be fucked or something idk im gonna have to jam some screwdrivers in it and shit

if the actual pipes are leaking find where the water's coming from and tighten it up

if it's the tap itself it's not hard to replace the washers or the T-shaped valve thing I forget the name of

isn't it a bad idea to fuck with the pipes when the water is on

not if it's just a tighten

if you have to take anything apart then yeah turn it off at the mains first

In most modern plumbing systems, the pressure will shut off automatically upon disruption of functional, normal flow.

I'll tighten your neck with a monkey wrench until I strip the threading on the connection of your spine and skull.

disconnect allof the piping (after it's turned off with the faucets), caulk it or use duct tape and reput it back, probably take youa bout 10-15 minutes, 20 if you really take your time

Otherwise some faggot (c) with a degree (tm) is gnona plumb u outta like 200$ for the visit just to do that

plumbing comes from the term plumb which referenced the lead your mother ingested through the tap water while she was pregnant

i'll video cam with u while u do it if u want, pm me and i'll set up a chatroom for the group

No. Just replace it out. including the tapouts. as a matter of fact, just rip the entire floor out because if your pipes are leaking and its going to dry rot eventually

as a matter of fact, just knock the fucking building down and rebuild it somewhere else.

I could prob fix it, it might be the seats/cartridge or something, if it's the faucet its almost def the seats

Wut pipes are leaking? You need to turn the water off to try to rebuild the faucet. It is pretty likely that the shut-offs under the sink will not close completely, begin to leak from the stem, or break if you operate them. I would find a way to turn the water off to your whole place, ideally at the water meter if youre place has it's own meter

If he's in a low rise with bade shut-offs he'd have to talk to the management. I had to shutoff whole buildings before while I fixed those valves.
