American coins have pictures of bald eagles, but we don't actually have any bald eagles in America.

Canada hasn't had polar bears since 1857

Too bad I used to live on the US border and i've literally seen bald eagles before and they are god damn beautiful and majestic.

I don't know where you live but it must suck and you claim to have traveled the country before and haven't seen shit.

Also on the topic of money, I'd just like to point out that not only does Australia have the world's most fictional animal on one of its coins (see: the platypus), that coin is a 20 cent coin. Not 25 cents. No, no, a quarter would have been too reasonable for Australia. 20 cents. A fifther. What a fucking degenerate, obtuse, unlikeable country.

Euros don't come in quarters either. And has a note for 5. Our old money did have quarters and coins up to 5, including a 2.50 coin for which there is no translation or at least equivalent in English.

You know what, it's not even a stretch to suggest the word dollar has it's roots in the dutch word 'Daalder'. Besides we didn't start WWII so we got to keep our cool words like Rijk which in actual fact does translate to Reich in German. Although it just means 'realm', as in 'the realm'.

Even if daalder isn't the etymological root of "dollar", they're obvious cousins. Still a Nazi tho. smh

I googled it. The root of the word is from the low German 'daler'/'taler'

Probably some sick freak who's gonna end up being well known to authorities as a crazy fuck just itching to fly his killer flag. They'll let him out after 7 years in a loony bin like that one guy who cut someone's head off on a bus in Winnipeg. Mental health systems are a joke everywhere smh...

Because i think 1960 was the year Queen Juliana abdicated in favor of her daughter Beatrice.

Also i don't collect coins, that's for geeks. But thanks Sophie from the past, Sophie from the past usually doesn't do anything nice for Sophie in the present. Might as well. Sophie in the present causes a lot of trouble for Sophie from the future. So i kind of deserve it.
