also, TDR's posts ITT are making me depressed to be conversing on a website with someone so stupid.

As opposed to the 850 million or so Chinese that have been lifted out of poverty since Mao's reforms?

The Journal cites the US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau as reporting that medical bills are by far the most common cause of unpaid bills sent to collection agencies in 2014.

When it comes to bankruptcy, the study cited court records of bankruptcy filers from 2013 to 2016, with the end result showing that 66.5 percent were tied to medical issues. In other words, they couldn’t pay their medical bills, either because they were too expensive to begin with, or they had to take time off of work and were not getting paid.

The research also noted that 58.5 percent of bankruptcies were caused specifically by medical bills, while 44.3 percent were caused in part by income loss due to illness.

If your source has anything to do with the Chinese governemnet or the UN we both know that is bullshit. But even at that many more than 850 million have been postitively affected in an econimic sense by the free market over the last 240 plus years. But I guess if you call the condidtion in most modern Chinese factories "out of poverty" we really have nothing more to discuss on this topic.

Good book for people who have no idea what the Chinese perspective is.

I really am not interested in what the Chinese perspective is. Even if he does accurately portray it. No more than I am interested in the perspective of a 12th-century serf in feudal Europe. IF you gave the latter a shit free place to sleep, two heaping bowls of porridge, a half a chicken, some root vegetables, a warm fire, and a few pints of mead at the end of a 10-hour workday they would think they were living high on the hog. My perspective is a bit different. So if you want to think that the average modern Chinese citizen has it so good why do you think they are not allowed to just leave whenever they want without fear of anything happening to their loved ones left behind?

these sort of assumptions are why you need a Chinese perspective to give you a balanced idea of what really goes on.

I won't change my mind, 'cause I don't have to. 'Cause I'm an American. I won't change my mind on anything, regardless of the facts that are set out before me. I'm dug in, and I'll never change.

Insurance is a scam and you don't want to admit you got scammed and fucked, that's all there really is to it.

You'd have cheaper and better coverage through taxes that literally improve the lives of everyone in your country, but you're so ass pained by the idea that the money is being used to help people who have less, you would rather just guve more money to some insurance jéw's yacht fuel budget instead, all while not using it.

    Obvious butthurt liberal democrat

People who have less should work harder to overcome their poverty, not complain about their situation and do nothing like your faggot ass

Nobody should have to choose between being totally unprotected or paying an exorbitant amount that they'll never use that just ends up in some executive's gay Ferrari.

I've been waiting for you to answer my question faggot.

Literally the whole business model is to run a shitty inverted-lottery based on fear. Literally, not figuratively. Rather than paying every drawing on the hope that you'll win a million bucks, you pay every month on the fear of drawing a short straw and going bankrupt if you didn't pay.

It is statistically almost impossible for them to not generate massive profits.... Because a vast majority of their customers never ever get their money's worth.

These cucks would rather tax themselves and trip over their own feet to giving jéws more of their money purely because it means not helping anybody else.

Insuranc was way more affordable before the affordable care act.

    You never asked a question.

And you won't truthfully answer mine as you know it would topple your position on this.
